Topside Support team is available to our medical staff for telephone consultation 24-hours a day to
provide assistance with diagnosis and all aspects of patient management as well
as health and hygiene issues. | |
Topside Support is the
method by which our medical personnel receive information, support and consultation from our
team of medical experts based in the United Kingdom, who are experienced in the
specific challenges of supporting remote site operations. The team offers support for primary care and will provide second opinions where needed.
Emergency care and consultation is also a major responsibility of the Topside Support
team to ensure any medical emergency is dealt with in the most professional and
efficient manner.
In addition to supporting the on-site medical personnel, the Topside Support team
is instrumental in issuing travel bulletins and health awareness information that
might affect our clients and their employees, for example in the case of the SARS
outbreak.
The Topside Support team will also provide pharmaceutical advice as well
as becoming involved in occupational health matters.
Frontier's remote site medics are assigned to a Topside Support consultant
who is involved at every stage of the individual's development, from recruitment
through to training. Forming a one-to-one relationship ensures that the Topside
Support team are fully aware of the remote site medic's abilities.
Frontier Medical's Topside Support team provides the reinforcement to
our field staff that helps to facilitate the smooth management of patient care.
