South African - Remote site doctors - ref FMSD

We invite applications from suitably experienced Remote Site Doctors to provide medical support for a forthcoming project in Sudan.

Suitable applicants will have proven emergency medical and trauma care skills and primary healthcare experience. They will also provide occupational and public health services support and first aid training including CPR to the crews. Additionally, an interest or experience in tropical medicine, particularly malaria, would be advantageous.

The doctors will have full management responsibility for the primary site clinic, in addition to providing Topside support for a number of remote site satellite clinics.

Computer literate and able to work under their own initiative, our medical professionals are team players, with an outgoing attitude and an interest in medical welfare, health and hygiene promotion and general administration.
