of the extent and quality of local medical facilities.
A further medical assessment of the client's

level of support available on board an offshore rig.
To maintain a high standard of on-site health and
safety, first aid training was conducted with the
client's crew.

the general health of 180 international staff
and to advise senior site management of the
potential health problems and the best method of
overcoming them.

the Western Desert of Egypt required medical
care for a workforce of around 700. Frontier

medical emergency. In addition, the medical staff have
been responsible for an ongoing programme of first aid

company, medekit. In addition with the Frontier formulary and
dispensing protocols the medics are able to deal with any given situation
that requires the prescribing of drugs.
Talisman Energy, Drilling Projects, Sudan
EMS supplied and operated clinics staffed by its Physicians Assistants at Heglig Oilfield
and in the capital Khartoum for six years. Initially Talisman provided medical services
solely for its own personnel but the clinic was subsequently opened up to other companies. Our
medics served the medical needs of workers in national oil companies from Malaysia, China, Sudan
and Canada. We were also retained to do a study of the Sudanese hospitals and emergency clinics
in Khartoum and Port Sudan. Despite working in difficult circumstances, during their time off
our medics often assisted with the client's charitable project of establishing small medical
clinics throughout the region.
Survey Vessel, Angola
Medical support was required on board a vessel
that was conducting surveys for a major operator. In addition
to the provision of medical support, Frontier Medical conducted
a health risk assessment.
